Female, 27 years old patient, healthy. During a laparoscopic cholecystectomy, a wide cystic duct (>1 cm) was found (Fig 1A). Cholangiography was performed
and showed an extra hepatic bile duct dilation (>4 cm), without finding common bile duct stones inside (Fig 1B); the cholecystectomy was completed.

Summarizing the studies on antecedents of childhood asthma, Yatsenko (2016) writes that disruptions in maternal-infant bonding are at the root of this
disease. Redwood Psychology Center corroborated this conclusion with three studies (Schwartz, 1990; Pennington, 2000; Feinberg, 1999) which showed that
the majority of asthmatic children have birth histories compatible with non-bonding.

While radiographs and computed tomography (CT) scans are commonly employed for the initial diagnosis of acute fractures in high energy traumas,
bone scintigraphy stands out as a highly sensitive modality for early detection. In instances where radiographs and CT scans yield negative results or when
the precise location of concern is unknown, a bone scan becomes valuable for uncovering occult fractures. In forensic medicine, particularly in cases involving
legal considerations like assigning for wergild of trauma victims, requesting a whole-body bone scan is essential to prove acute fractures, especially when
radiographs or CT scans show no evidence of injury.

Muscle pain (myalgia) is a common symptom associated with a wide range of causes including Occupational and functional causes such as overuse
injuries and strains. In addition to infections, Neuromuscular disorders and inflammatory muscle diseases such as Polymyositis and Dermatomyositis.
However, the hallmark for Inflammatory Myopathies is weakness which is associated with raised CK levels rather than isolated elevations in CK.

Cell-based therapies have ushered in numerous opportunities for treating (neuro) degenerative disorders [1–5]. In this realm, mesenchymal stromal/
stem cells (MSCs) stand out as the primary protagonists of this innovative therapeutic paradigm.
MSCs, multipotent cells from various adult, perinatal, and fetal tissues [6],
exhibit diverse therapeutic properties owing to their shared transcriptomic signature and tissue origins [2,7]. Dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs) represent
a unique subset of MSCs that can be sourced from the dental pulp (DP) of deciduous, adult, and wisdom teeth.

Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a highly aggressive subtype known for its high recurrence rates,
poor prognosis[1], lack of tumor predictive markers and potential therapeutic targets, and complex molecular
mechanisms that have not yet been elucidated[2]. Platelet derived growth factor (PDGF) is essential for the development of the vasculature and the formation and remodeling of tumor blood vessels [3]. Recent Single- cell transcriptomic analysis also found that the PDGF
signaling pathway serves as a possible therapeutic target
for TNBC[4]

From the very beginning of the pandemic, lockdowns and social isolation measures were introduced in almost all countries to combat the spread of
the infection, but in the context of a significantly increased burden on the healthcare system, healthcare workers continued to carry out their activities in conditions of increased risk [1,2]. WHO reported that in some countries, every tenth healthcare worker was infected with coronavirus [3]. According to other data, more than 9% of those affected by COVID-19 in 2020 were healthcare workers [4].

Air embolism is a rare but serious complication that may arise due to esophageal injury following procedures like endoscopic gastroduodenoscopy.
Previous studies have reported cases of cerebral air embolism and pneumocephalus during endoscopic procedures, including esophageal balloon
dilatation, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD). Most cases involved patients across
various age groups, with mucosal disruption resulting either from procedural intentions (e.g., biopsy) or pre-existing conditions (e.g., gastric ulcer) (4-6).

Chronic limb threatening ischemia (CLTI) is a condition that threatens not only limb preservation but also the life of the patient. All global vascular
surgery communities and guidelines agree that a patient suffering from CLTI needs to be admitted to a vascular center as soon as possible and undergo
surgical revascularization of the ischemic limb as quickly as possible. Often such patients require repeated interventions, which is associated with a high risk
of intraoperative and postoperative complications.

Opioid use disorder (OUD) and major depressive disorder (MDD) are substantial public health concerns, particularly in Kentucky. Opioids, which
are also referred to as narcotics, encompass both prescription pain relievers, such as hydrocodone and oxycodone, and illicit substances, such as heroin.
(Phillips et al., 2017) These substances function by binding to opioid receptors in the brain, thereby reducing the perception of pain and generating euphoria.
However, this can result in addiction and misuse.
