A 58-year-old male presented in extremis with severe metabolic derangements, persistent vomiting, and profound lethargy requiring
endotracheal intubation. Following initial fluid resuscitation and metabolic stabilization, persistent hyperlactatemia raised high clinical suspicion for acute
bowel ischemia. Urgent abdominal CECT revealed a classic "target sign" in the proximal jejunum, diagnosing an adult jejunal intussusception with suspected
vascular compromise.

Interleukin-6 (IL-6), secreted by skeletal muscle during exercise, is considered an important myokine involved in interorgan metabolic communication.
Despite a substantial body of experimental evidence, its physiological role remains a subject of debate. On the one hand, exogenous IL-6 reproduces
several metabolic effects of exercise; on the other hand, the persistence of these effects following genetic or pharmacological blockade of IL-6 indicates
that it is not an obligatory mediator of adaptation.

A 67-year-old woman with ulcerative colitis developed a generalized mucocutaneous eruption six weeks after starting sulfasalazine. Examination
revealed widespread epidermal detachment involving approximately 40% of the body surface area, with extensive erosions affecting the limbs, back,
buttocks, and hands, associated with oral, ocular, vulvar, and perianal involvement. Laboratory findings included anemia, leukocytosis, elevated
C-reactive protein, hyperkalemia, renal impairment, markedly elevated D-dimer levels, and rhabdomyolysis.

Plexiform fibrohistiocytic tumor is a rare mesenchymal neoplasm classified as an intermediate-grade malignancy because of its locally aggressive behavior. We
report the case of a 35-year-old chronic smoker who presented with a recurrent inguinal cutaneous tumor. Initial histopathological examination suggested a
fibrohistiocytic tumor. Dermatological examination revealed a pigmented, retractile verrucous inguinal mass associated with multiple subcutaneous
nodules distributed throughout the body, occurring in a context of general deterioration.
